Walnut Pesto


1 large bunch basil, leaves removed
100g walnuts
3 cloves garlic
½ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup olive oil


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender except oil
  2. Process while gradually adding oil
  3. Pesto can be used as a dip, folded through pasta, on a pizza base
N.B Pinenuts can be used to replace walnuts
