Berry & Lemon Quinoa Porridge


1 cup quinoa, rinsed
2 cups organic almond milk
1 tablespoon agave nectar
½ lemon, zested
1 cup berries of choice
2 teaspoons flax seeds


  1. Place quinoa, almond milk and agave nectar in a large heavy based saucepan and bring mixture to the boil
  2. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed
  3. Gently fold through lemon zest and berries
  4. Serve sprinkled with flax seeds
