Raw Guilt Free Brownies

Ingredients:

1 cup raw almonds
¼ cup raw cashews
450g Medjool dates, pitted
½ cup raw walnuts
1/3 cup cacao
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Icing:
½ cup coconut butter
2 tablespoons raw agave nectar
2 tablespoons cacao

Directions:

  1. Place almonds and cashews in a food processor and process until fine
  2. Add dates, walnuts, cacao and vanilla and process until mixture just starts to come together
  3. Press mixture firmly into a 23cm square cake tin lined with baking paper
  4. To make icing place coconut butter and agave into a bowl and mix until smooth
  5. Add cacao and continue mixing until just combined
  6. Spread icing over base and refrigerate. Cut into 36 pieces
